THE CONCEPT and IDEA
The site is at the square of faculty of Built Environment, which is close to nature, surrounded by the trees, the plants, the rocks, also the historical wakaf and column.The place growth and bring up numerous souls and spirits.
Hence, the idea is based on the life-form and the creature.The form is the combination of animal such as snake, fish, bird...The creatures moving upward showing the spirit and the soul are always look to the goal, the way to success.The sphere represent to the god of the day-Sun, which is playing an important role to the mother nature. It is like a magnetism to the everything on the earth.Similarly, we are always looking onward but not backward, our future is a mystery that we need to track down the way to become successful in the life.Thus, the sculpture was named as "LIFE HEADING THE RAY"
THE PROCESS
The plasticine modeling
Forming the basic structure by welding the steel
Built up the form with chicken wire&
strengthen the structure by putting the cement on it
